Our Club
Since 1953
The Cronulla Polar Bears have been continually developing and maintaining their culture. From developing their fines system to having their own Polar Bear Ball's, the bears don't stray far from tradition but continually create new characteristics just from our members.
Fines
The Fine system is one of absolute comedic gold. Often difficult to translate to those absent from our fines sessions, our Fine-Master's have the power to leave a room of grown men in tears of laughter.

Crowning of the 'sports star of the week' goes to the gentleman that has the best 'story' - as told by our Fine-Master and voted on by our members. The proceeding week, they must wear a 'fashionable' shirt wherever they go - if caught by another Bear without the shirt they have to shout the bar.

Nicknames
Nicknames hold a unique place in the heart of The Bears. They are not only a reflection of Aussie culture and humour, but also a means of Bears ingenuity. Many of our members rarely go by their birth name, rather abbreviations or names with humorous stories behind them.

Bears On tour
With our interstate competitions and Aussie titles - over the years bears have been lucky enough to have the opportunity and travel doing what they love drinking (and swimming).
Ever heard of what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas? Well same goes for The Bears. Although our boys memories from these trips may be a bit hazey in the days following, they become to talking points of the entire year.
Below you'll see some of the Bears on tour in their prized touring-jackets.
