Our Community

Taking care of our members, and our community.

Through weekly raffle ticket sales, all profits are donated to a local non-profit organisation.

Organised by life member's Denis Ford and John Suann, the raffles have a range of prizes from bottles of wine to restaurant vouchers. These are often generously donated by local businesses.

As decided annually by our committee, recipients of our raffle sales are researched according to community impact and facilities.

As pictured above, The Rainbow Club Cronulla/Miranda was 2019's recipient for their remarkable work in encouraging and teaching those with a disability how to swim. This club was founded by Sutherland Shire local Rod Siddon in 1969 that has since grown state wide.

The photo also followed a local newspaper publication by The Leader, publicising the great work both of our clubs for our community. That article written by John Veage can be found at: https://www.theleader.com.au/story/6245982/cronulla-polar-bears-winter-raffles-bear-fruit/

Over the years, we have been lucky enough to have supported many small non-profit organisations. As a non-profit organisation ourselves, it is an honour to be able to help organisations like The Rainbow Club that do so much for our community.

If you know of a worthy organisation in the Cronulla-Sutherland area that would benefit from our support, head to the 'Say Hello' page and get in contact with us.
